DO you know any good websites that i can download custom skins? I would also like to learn how to make skins. I hear you can use photoshop. I cant find any skins in the skin folder like i can with the gunsites. i guess you cant acces the dafault 51D skins or any of the dafault ones. I am hopeing you can acces the latest skins. and further more can you do all this in ah1? guess its not such a slick interface in ah1 for this. :confused:

1st off..nice bumping of a 5+ year old thread.......... messageboard forum use ( reading & posting ) rules are located at the top of every forum in a sticky post

2nd: check out this webpage found on the links of the Aces high Home Page for information regarding manually downloading skins:

3rd: you can go in to the hangar and click the box to automatically download skins while playing online......this way , the game will automatically download all available ingame skins that are currently used and you do not have to bother with it

4th: check out Krusty's Skinning planes tutorial here:

5th: check out HTC's custom skinning how-to explanation here:

6th: check out the Custom sounds & Skins Aceshigh II forum here:

and lastly check for the http://www.ah-skins.com/........ that Octavious posted in this thread back in February 2004..........

but honestly.....if you use that little search space in the upper right corner.......you can save yourself a lot of trouble , find stuff faster....and you should set up your messageboard details to: "Read Newest Threads 1st" instead of having to sift threw all the old threads from beginning to end........

I think the purpose of "search is your friend" is to find the answers. Seeing as it is a four year old thread, you would think the answer is there somewhere.

Also, "search" could be used to discover what has already been discussed about something. Have something new to add and you could start a new thread, versus three trillion posts rehashing the same old subject with the same old information.

I could very well be wrong. But I saw one claiming to be the other at one point. And I'm not talking about in game, just on the BBS.
