It's funny that it was intended for bass but because of the open back it doesn't work for anything but guitar...It was used by Chuck Berry for all his early stuff cause nothing else would distort like on "Maybellene".

SRV used it almost exclusively on "In Step"...The Fender reissue is excellant and there are several others that hand build them with point to point wiring(eg..Kendrick2410..BTW I have the 4212 Tweed 80watts..man it IS the SRV tone!)

Yeah they got one at the music store I trade at 1.495.00
Does that seem like a fair price to you?
