Bartender at a Hotel Bar. Yeah, they pay was lousy...but the "fringe benefits" made up for it. :D
-
NOT the one i have
need to quit
-
EMT, huh? Wasn't Mr.Black an EMT, too Bassman?
-
I would Imagine there are a few EMT's in Texas.
-
A hummer....:D

As some of you know I own and operate a Silkscreen & computerized embroidery shop for the last 15 or so years. Up until 3 years ago we did Custom Airbrushing. A local "gentlemens club" Hired us to airbrush all his strippers to look like statue's. WOW! 25 naked girls and they really really did look like statues once we were finished. Usually i'm a fast airbrusher but i slowed down to make sure my work was perfect:)

Still got it, overhead crane operator/hooktender for the Boeing Comercial Airplane Company.

I have two great jobs. Chief bottle washer at my pizza shack and software quality manager for good software.
I can't think of a better job I've ever had. There have been moments, like some of the shows I got as a pizza delivery driver and all the free nachos I could jam down my gullet when I cleaned at a restaurant..... but the current work is best.
-
I still have the best job. Being a Dad :)
-
Aircraft Mechanic at DeHavillands...Was there 5 years then they laid off me and half the workers.

Bartender at several popular restaurants around the Seattle area:
Garcia's of Scottsdale
Salty's at Redondo
El Torito at the Kingdom
Shennanigans
Ahhh, the days of wine, women and song. As a bartendar, you get to pick from the flock.
Hourly wage was roughly $6.50 an hour (in the 80's) but tips were about $75 a night avg.
-
ThrustMaster, without a doubt. I actually looked forward to getting up and going to work in the morning.
-
One summer when I was in college, Dinger got me a job beta testing computer and video games. We would come in, BS for a couple of hours, play "work" games for a few hours, dictate some bug reports, drink a bunch of soda, then play "fun" games the rest of the day. The best was when the "work" games were also fun. Most weren't, e.g. the port of Double Dragon to Atari 2600. But occasionally the work games were great, like Sim City or Military Madness.

Three letters...FBI
Federal Breast Inspector :D
-
Ohio State campus bartender. It took me 6 years to get my bachelor's, and I graduated with a 2.0, but it was well worth the long hours and crappy pay. ;)
-
6 years ago I started to work for big pharma - currently manage all the European 3rd party manufacturers (and two in the USA) for them - lot's of project management, reasonable amount of overseas travel, lots of resource, get in at 7.00am and leave at 3.00pm - I enjoy it a lot.

I have always wonderd what effect humidity would have on the ballistics of nato 7.62 round at say 600meters.
And what does the #308 have in common with all other 30 calibers?
If you could help me with this I sure would be thankfull.

Airhead, Dunno if you're trying out for the nobel pece prize of the BBS or what but this mrblack/59bassman/kommandant/ whatever brings this upon himself. He came into this thread and only offered insults and negativity. When others commented he had another melt down. This guy beings it on himself, you can't portect someone from their own stupidity.

I like my current job just fine.
Spent 5 years as a Special Ed. teacher. That was very rewarding.

Dash 8's?
A terrific airplane, I have some good late 1980's Eastern Metro Express stories working on that plane.
Hate what you have experienced though, the field is sucking all-a-sudden, but the upturn is coming.

Cool. I am upgrading my licence to PPL from Ultralight. I hope I can land a big juicy aviation job. Know any openings for a 40 year old guy with 20 hours of Cessna 172 time?
Seriously I a due to go solo on Monday. Took me from Sept till last week to get those 20 hours in and I was booked for an hour a day, 4 days a week every week.
The weather really did suck this winter.
-
GL on Monday, Habu.

Thanks Steve.
I am a bit nervous but looking forward to it. I was supposed to go Friday but had a bit of paperwork that was not finished. It is hard to think about it all weekend. I hope the weather holds. Last couple of days have been beautiful.

After having worked my tail off for years putting in 60-80 hours a week as an industrial automation tech, this is like a perpetual vacation. I plan to be up here for at least 2 years, after that I may move back into civil service, another perpetual vacation. :D

Black.
My sniping carreer is much too boring for a poser like yourself. I dont know what you want from your previos post. While you were waiting to debate me on the balistics of a 7.62mm round I was at a pub with friends last night then this morning helping family prepare a house to sell. Then out with my sons getting hair cuts. Then I droped one off at a birthday party and took the other to the range.
I shot a 200 yard grouping at 270 yards with my Ping SI3 white dot driver.
Then I picked up the other son again and we came home and watched the newest terminator movie.
Just logged on here to be reminded what a sorry pathetic loser you are and hope again that you are banned again for your own good before you finally kill yourself from self loathing.

It is no suprise to me you did not understand what he wrote. What he said made perfect sense. But you have to have a bit of culture to understand it.

Since they are part of the same corporation but different divisions, so technically it's just one job since all I did was transfer, working at Sony Computer Entertainment of America and Sony Online Entertainment has been the best job.
