Title: Sky bug beta 16

At first flying from A1 all was fine for me although others were complaining of wierd sky effects.
However i changed side and when flying near A1 sky would suddenly change to piccy below.
When flying away from A1 it would suddenly revert back to normal (this was at approx 13k alt for me).
However later when flying away, the change back to normal, (flying at low level) did not happen for me.

P4 3.0
Radeon 9800 Pro 4.2 drivers.

I had that effect until I upped the resolution (to second-highest from third-highest)..... that seemed to cure it, if I can get used to the smaller text!  :)

had the same effect too.

But after flying a bit too the north it changed to a smooth transition.
