Hi!
Dunno if this has been brought up before.
Seems that the 109G10 skin No2 is booting me to desktop everytime it should show up. In hangar or on RWY.
Deleting it from the skins-folder let me use another skin and it worked again.
Specs:
AMD 3000 Barton
1GB RAM
Asus Radeon 9600XT 128MB

Same here 109g102, Red Two instant CTD.
only way to use any g10 after is to delete 109g102.res file from skin folder, or anytime you click on a g10 you will get an instant CTD.
Hope its a fixable bug as I liked that skin offline.
FYI before skins were introduced as approved it seemed every time I named a folder with the number 2 on the end for 109's, A5's and D9's that skin would always CTD.
seems it only does this to LW planes so far. For the p51's I have a sequence offline of folders 1-4 without problem, same for the p40's.
Also tried deleting the folders that contain skins that have been approved and become part of online play, this doesnt seem to help either.
Any suggestions from HTC Staff I'm more than happy to try out in order to help.
Regards,

Do you have object mip mapping on or off?

Turning off object mip mapping stopped the CTD, but turning it back on caused a CTD with the 109 red two skin.
hope this helps

Fizz can you remove your cache folder then see if it still CTD's?
Also did you have the skin b4 we released it?

I got CTDs on a skin that I accidentally saved as a 24 bit bitmap. Resaving the file as a 256 bitmap fixed it. Just an idea.

Renamed cache folder and then the default 109g10 caused a CTD.
Didn't have the skin b4 it auto downloaded, but just in case tried removing skins and cache folders still got CTD after autodownload.
Just a guess but I think its an XP issue. Its trying to have a folder and a file with the same name but XP cann't tell the difference in the cache folder.
