Was wondering if anyone had any "tips , tricks" for getting a good looking natural metal surface on aircraft.
I'm currently working on a p47 and will post some screenies on what I come up with.
I was just noticing that the aircraft in natural metal are either all white / or shades grey...but no reflective properties are shown.

HTC has some funky system built into planes whereby those they made as bare metal are much shinier than those that they made painted. This shininess or lack thereof always is with that plane, regardless of what color you make it. This is why green 51Ds still gleam like naked aluminum, while planes that have stock green skins just look grayish when you make a silver skin.
