In general.

Are AH2 skins different?

I'm using a terain editor that I downloaded maybe a year ago.

Save your picture as a jpg file, then go to http://www.onpoi.net/ah to upload the file (you need to create an account if you decide to use this). Once you upload the file copy the code it gives you next to Image: When you try posting the picture here make sure it has [ img ] at the beggining and [ /img ] at the end (without spaces). or it will just show up as a link like this. http://www.onpoi.net/ah/pics/users/ah_201_1077682021.jpg

AH2 skins have 4 time bigger size, so  are more detailed
everything else is mostly same

If you use AH terrain editor your skins are for AH1, just try to find any free image posting webpage
