I actually read that they painted some photo reckon planes pink, somethin to do with being harder for the eye to fix on that colour.

Yeah, they painted the Euro recon Spits like that. There's one that's been restored and is flying the air show circuit with that paint scheme. For the desert recon Spits, they painted them baby blue to camo better against the sky.
-
A wartime color photo of 16 Squadron Spitfire FRIXs in pale pink camo for low alt recon work. These are gunned Spit IXs btw, not PR XI like the restored flying pink Spit. Same camo though, and used for under the clouds recce work where they might need to protect themselves more often then a high alt unarmed XI.
Note the underwing invasion ID stripes as this was taken in the fall of 1944 at Melsbrook, near Brussels, Belgium.
The scan doesn't do justice to the 'pinkness' of the Spit IXs in photo btw.

I would just like to have a Spit like this with double the Ammo load of regular Spit IXs.
480 Cannon ?
-
amo multiplier.
-
offline mode .... ya i bet i had set 2x ammo
as for being a thief, yeppers got it off the ahskins dl page ...
(the guys at work were :rofl when I showed them that plane)
It 's also great for getting your daughters interested in the game .
(Daddy daddy .. can we fly the "Barbie spit ???")
Eskimo Did a nice job on this ... I'm not shure if it can get used though (copyright stuff) But ive seen the same type of stuff in il2 and in FS .
when it comes to artwork you can use alot of it as long as it is not for personal gain . (something like this though I bet mattel would look at it as free advertising )I can see it now ... going thru my fav toy store and there it is the "Barbie Spit" next to the "Ken Dora " on the shelf .
