when does it happen? how does it happen, do you seem to be doing the same thing every time it happens? Do you get any errors when it happens?

What operating sytsem?
Do you have the latest service packs installed?
What version of DirectX?
What version of the video driver?
What sound card do you have?
Better still, if you will send the output of the DXDIAG utulity to support@hitechcreations.com I would be happy to look it over.

Sorry 'bout the lack of info....
Happens very randomly. Sometimes after only a couple of minutes flying, sometimes after a much longer period of time. For instance, last night I had a couple of boots about 3 minutes after logging into the game, then I flew a Seafire long enough to exhaust almost 3/4 tank of fuel and got booted as I approached a field to land (4 kills!! Grrr...). Never any errors.
I am running the game at 800x600 and my desktop at 1024x768. Is this a problem?
Operating system: XP Professional Service Pack 1 All critical updates installed
DirectX Ver. 8.1 (4.08.01.0810)
GeForce2 MX100/200 Driver Ver. 2.9.5.8
Video File Ver. 6.13.10.2958
Sound card: Creative SB Live! Value (WDM) Driver Ver. 5.1.2535.0
Thanks for the help!

I have been getting screen freeze and the boot a lot recently. lost a couple 262s and tempests to this problem. after some investagation i found that my video card is going bad. try maybe hooking up to your integrated video card to see if the problem is still there if no probs you video card may need replaced.
