Title: Stupid weak British pilots...
Post by: lasersailor184 on March 03, 2004, 07:52:03 AM: Ok, so I'm cruising around at 15k after semi engaging a P47/spit with squadmates. I engage B17's and take them down. But my cockpit got raked with .50's. My pilot was hit. My engine died.

So I start the slow easy glide back down to my base. I'm blacking out every 10seconds. But I died mid flight.

Stupid british pilot can't even live through .50 caliber wounds. Grr.

They're right, you know. Humour doesn't travel well, and even the spelling gets corrupted. America exports plenty of humour to Britain; they just don't realise it's humour when they're exporting it!:lol:p

Apperently by one stray 0.303 bullet that was found in his jacket after he crashed. He apparently was shot at by an infanteryman at aa range of 750 yards. Nevertheless he had no chance of surviving his bullet wound. Now let's think of a .50...
