Anyone know where i can get a hold of a real russian T55, T62, T64 or T72 tank ?
NO...not ebay (ive checked).
Not kidding, im looking for a real one. :)
Does not have to be in mint condition or have a working gun,
There where made ALOT of these tanks and there should be somewhere to get hold of one when you can get fighterjets that works oon ebay.

There's a company in Britain that specialises in this sort of thing. Probably just British stuff though.
-
What the heck would you do with it? Park it in the front yard as a lawn ornament? Just kidding.
You work for a museum Nilsen?

Apparently, someone used to come to work in one where I'm currently located. It wasn't an MBT or anything - just a troop carrier.
-
Call Putin. Im sure he'd be willing to work something out.

Nilsen must be a terrorist

We are 6 guys with some time to spare and an old barn with plenty of room :)
Fixing up a T55/62/64 could be fun.

there was this pub we went to when i was a kid, they had a Chieftan tank in the garden, this was when they were still in service and being replaced by Challenger tanks. Apparently he got a Westland Lynx too.

and from http://www.britishmilitaryvehicles.co.uk/
'For disposal T62, less turret, Running driving and stopping.
With a mock up turret would make a good tank 'driving experience' vehicle'

Its all them french fries they eat Furball...makes em just wanna quit :D
Hahahah, that was old and stale.
-
hmm .. That T62 looks great, think ill have to contact the owners of that one.
-
Damn, the project stranded.
Aparently the wife of the one with the barn and room for it said quote: "jævla tulling" translation: "****ing moron". She claimed that they where in no need for a tank and for him to grow up :(
It would be so cool tho to rumble up to the range at the local gunclub with a T62 and aim the lazer at the target shouting "Sabot up!" :D

Just remind her of the money that could be earned by allowing people to pose in the turret like a tank commander. You could set up a booth at air shows and gun conventions.
-
just tell her you are just doing your bit for the war on terror. And you only want to protectyour families..
Or tell her its the new top of the range volvo.

If that T62 or equivalent was priced like that in the US, I think it would sell quickly. I'd buy it in a hearbeat.
