To squelch Local range channel? If so please tell me what it is.

Last night I was over a base and the conversation was so rude and interupting that I could barley hear what was going on in my own squad. The whole thing was over one kill of a P40 for gods sake, and it lasted about 10 minutes. I shouldn't have to fly away from a base to get out of range of this garbage. And the squelch list was way too long to try attempt to get rid of it that way.

A few of the rooks here may know what I'm talking about last night.

Anyways, if there is a way to do this with out going to individual squelch can someone please tell me.

its called Alt F4.

I agree, it was almost like the dude had his job stolen. It's one freakin kill, in the time he took to whine about it he coulda had 5 more.

I'd like to know as well if there is anyway to squelch range vox.  It really gets difficult to hear squad vox traffic when range keeps stepping on it.

If I wanted a smart ace remark I would have asked for one... Its the crap like this that is better left kept to yourself...

One shouldnt have to listen to this on range channel... Nor should they have to squelch everyone around them just to get some peace and quiet...

A simple question... All I wanted was a simple asnwer..

Squelch them individually.

I absolutely have to when I hear squeaky voices and/or those who use the range channel and seem to have a disjointed conversation with themselves.  

I have a dislexic friend who used to do that.  He couldn't finish one sentence without trailing off and thinking another thought.  :cool:

But in fact that is exactly what I do when it happens to me.

You may find a different solution.

Being able toTurn range vox off would be a great feature HT just for the reason Morph posted... The problem he described happens all to often and we shouldn't have to turn vox off completely to solve the problem..
It would be a nice feature, and well appreciated in AH2...

Real thing that is killing me in the game and my future playing is my putter box is lacking deaply in goodies... I need a new one. :(

I have been finding out about all sorts of little dot comands that I didnt know the game had. So I just thought/hoped that there was a squelch for range channel.

Sure you can squelch individuals but that takes time. And sometimes there isnt any time to spend figureing out how to spell someones handle, then typing each handle in... Its just a pain is all. And it never fails that as I am trying to squelch somone and trying to spell their handle right. I will get shot down or auger ect ect. :o

Just kinda hoped there'd be a comand other than alt f4 that I didnt know about:rolleyes:

Well holding the squad together is a good thing.  I hope things continue to go well for you there.

As far as "Good to see me"  This is about the only place you will see me.  Hehe .......  FB just came out with an expansion with about 20 new flyable aircraft  (2 p38s 3 new p51s a ta152 4 new spits and many others)  Around 10 new AI aircraft and a buttload of new maps.  So that game is very exciting right now.  I wont lie I havnt missed AH at all latley.
