I'm not really much into the GV (or bomber) stuff...but have fooled with it a bit more the last couple of tours. The GV stuff is actually a hoot if you dont get to serious about it. I've seen a bunch of threads about new GV's but it seems the real piece thats missing is the "towed gun". In real life the primary tank defense was the anti tank gun not the "tank destroyer" or another tank. I don't know how hard it would be to implement a deployable AT or dual purpose gun but it would certainly create a real purpose for recce and jabo tactical air. Vehicles are awful easy to spot and the manned/auto acks are known location. Towed AT/dual purpose/ack would allow the creation of player located/controlled defensive belts around key fields...would make base capture a bunch more interesting for both air and ground attacks...also be neat to setup ambushes for spawn campers:D

A towed 88 would be sweet. Works great as a AT and AA gun.

yep, although the GV set is still small, new models that'd make more tactical variety possible would probably be best.

I'd agree, the overall GV set obviously has to be greatly expanded if this thing intends to evolve into more of a combined arms game. But having GV's and not having anti tank guns...makes no sense....to me at least.

Not that I'm against a towed gun, but what I want to see in the GV area is more accurate implementation of sights.
(Then again, maybe it's there and I just don't know how to use it.)
We should be able to dial in a range (say 2500 yards) and the center of your sight is now at 2500 yards, not the bottom of the sight.
(Also, as a side note, the 'zoom' factor on the sights should be made more historic. I don't think they had 40 power zoom on panzer sights in RL.)
Ouch out
