Post by: Dingbat on March 06, 2004, 05:27:10 PM: I have every intention to go for my IFR ticket, I going to enjoy the fruits of my labor now though :) I've got a couple destinations in mind, it's a 2 hour flight to the wright brother's memorial in Kill Devil Hills, so obviously I've got no excuse to not make that pilgramige The other is to my brothers town about the same distance but NW.

No doubt about that, I've already increased my bookshelf space to allow for all the readings i'm getting. I'm pretty much a Flight Training subscriber for life, every issue I learn something new.

Seems that I recall that is why I wore that one. BTW, I really enjoyed flying that little Tomahawk. I've heard since that they can be pretty dangerous.

It did earn the nickname "Trauma-hawk". As I recall, they were pretty nasty at spin recovery, which some CFIs were still using back when it first came out.
