Umm, honestly I haven't had a problem with it yet...

But, I'm still trying to perfect one part of my skin.  The checkering on the front of "Big Beautiful Doll" at the top nose.  The skin bends the edge so it isn't straight on top.  No matter what I do, it doesn't show up sharp at all.

Everything else is crisp as it can be.

Oct, can you post a screenie of your skin in the game that you mention? and then post the texture you are refering to?

i think it would help us out to determine what it is you are trying to fix.

I guess I'm just asking for techniques in PSP8 or Photoshop that allows for sharp contrasts and non-jagged edges between layers and different colors.  Basically the text looks like crap compared to the two screens in that link above ^.

The lettering and panel lines are superb.

on those 2 text examples, they are actually other high res images that are mapped onto the skin... look at the stock p51.bmp..    p51sid, i believe. Here you will see two images - one is the "preddy" plate under the canopy...the other is  "cripes o mighty" nose art.

If you are just doing text on skin , it will never be as crisp / clear as those are.
