We've got a project due in two days and exams after that. been working from 06.00 to 01.00 or so for the last week and a half, and it'll be worse the next couple of days.
Haven't had time to check out 1.07. Barely have had the energy to check the board (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif).
So, lemme hear the good and the bad. And info about the new planes (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/biggrin.gif).
Kirin is still a loudmouth, btw.

My advice: wait for the next patch or two before dloading it. No drones, vanishing planes, glitches galore. All in all a damn good update, just very buggy at the moment.
The Il-2 handles like a harrier around 200mph; slower and it loves to stall, faster and it siezes up. Just like it should.
Ki-61 is a sweet little plane. Turns nice and loves to accelerate, just watch the vertical moves since it's got the N1K2's lack of stall. Nice part is if you get it under 50mph and try moving the controls she spins like a mother.
P-47 is well, more like a P-51B in handling since it's an earlier variant.
The LVT's are fun to play with. Just watch out for the transition between land and sea. Sometimes the LVT will freak and do a nasty dance that kills you.
I haven't seen the bouncing tracers yet, but Cit said they aren't showing up. I fired the Panzer's cupola MG at an M-16 this morning and didn't see them. Didn't see them when I shot up another Panzer later using .50 cals in the P-47. Probably another bug.

I tried it three times, crashed 2 times, which of one caused me to use reset button (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/wink.gif)
otherwise, no further experience than quick testing & look of the new toys.

Hey Santa. Are these your finals?
Did all that last year, and it wasn't pleasant in slightest. But afterwards - that was pretty awesome, I had 4 weeks before the graduation ceremony with no lectures just drinking, football and more drinking. Hope you get the same 'treatment'.
Good luck anyway. (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)
Oh, and 1.07 rocks.

Ricochet tracers are there,it may only work with cannons though. It`s not as impressive as You would expect, but kinda neat.
One big change is that now we can pop osties and tanks with LW cannons. But for some reason bombs won`t kill em anymore.I had a few direct hits with 500kg bomb on panzers, looked back and saw them in the middle of the crater, but they just kept living. So I guess the GV damage-model still needs some tweaking.

Same effect here, more than five precise drops, no effect at all in panzers neither flaks.

Ditto on the bombs seeming not to work on armor.

Ricochets work nicely - shot Swoop's tank (in front armour) with the MG's in the IL-2 and saw lots of pretty bounces.
Cheers

Hey guys, thanks for the info (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)
Dowding, nope, not finals yet for another year and a half. We're doing a software project from start to end, and are then evaluated in most of our classes through the project.
It's been insane, working from 08.00 to 01.00.
And of course we still lack some documentation and the quality of some of it is questionable. Naturally, once we reach the final stages, we spot a design flaw that we won't be able to fix.
So, working overtime. Ugh.
Project is due in on wednesday, and after that I have one programming exam the 6th, and then a whoopass project exam the 20th. Around 2000 pages of stuff, so I'll have my work cut out :/
Will probably squeeze in some AH time though (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/biggrin.gif).

IMO 1.07 is great.
The staff at HTC addressed many of the player requests.
The razorback is a blast!
ditto on the ki.
dunno about flying the IL2 but it sure makes a big kaboom when it blows up (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)
ack is less deadly which is good.
changes to the field hangar positions are great as are the larger refuel pads.
I also like the changes to the interface including the ability to change icon colors, etc.
overall a great upgrade. cudos to HTC
