how about this one?  "daddy's girl" - fits most pony pilots right?  :p

the colors aren't too clear, the nose is green... olive drab anti-glare, blue rudder and a thin white stripe around the spinner.

I wish someone would do this one.  457th FS, 506th FG flying of Iwo escorting B29s in the summer of 45.

The Enchantress.  Can't think of any better nose art for a 51 :)

Most of those would be easy to do....I actually turned in 2 for submission, with the second being "My Achin" (insert donkey / ******* picture) lol.

My main goal with this 51 was a third test of a different metal look. Honestly, The white / grey for metal didn't look right to me. This may not look right to some, but it's seems to have depth / reflective properties of natural metal. Granted the 51s only natural surfaces were the wing controla areas / rest was sprayed with aluminum lacquer.

Anyway - the view from the cockpit is great, especially with the lighting effects...

The wings look incredible from inside the cockpit, WTG.  The plane looks a little bit too purple to me though :(  Very good otherwise

was going to say that. Is incredible, but desaturate it a little bit so it isn't as colorful looking.

this can be very simply done.

Yeah - the more I look at the stills posted here  it's starting to seem too "colorful" to me....

But, when I look at it when its moving in the game....damn it, it just looks good....lol
