Title: john kerry -working man
Post by: john9001 on March 10, 2004, 02:14:53 AM
kerry has started to take off his coat when he gives a speech, when he starts to roll up his sleeves (like dean) kerry will be the true 'working man' and that rich oil guy boosh will be in trouble.

Ah well, even if he doesn't do a single bit of work from november on, he'll still only has to avoid strolling from one blunder into another to be a better president than Boosh.

True, because if someone like GWB would wield the sceptre over here he couldn't do half the damage he does while 'leading' the US.
You guys are important, like it or not...

Kerry is cute and fund!!!

I believe that both Kerry and Bush are Skulls and they are even distantly related.

My opinion is that the only real difference is that Kerry is a Democrat and more likely to raise taxes compared to Bush.

I also believe that both would have more or less the same foreign policies.

Are you trying to say that rolling up his sleeves helped Dean?

Are you also implying that being married to a woman with a nine-figure net worth can be construed as 'working'?

Personally, I was amazed not to find cork plugs on either side of Kerry's neck when he started shedding the coat.

Very possible. Don't know him him well enough to determine. If he was, however, I still stick by my cork plug comment.

yes, i was being sarcastic, that happens alot.  :D

i try to point out the obvious, like when these rich men try to be "one of the boys" they take off their ties , coats , roll up their sleeves and say how they will "fight" for us.

I humbly retract my previous statements--except for the cork plug one.

Anyone who can get elected into office probably shouldn't be there.

That's just my simplified motto for politics.

The complicated one includes quadratic equations.  Only math nerds like quadratic equations.

By the way, I like quadratic equations.

If you solve the following using the quadratic equation:  x^2 - x - 1 = 0

you end up with:  1 + sqrt (5) / 2 and 1 - sqrt (5) / 2.  Note that the '1 + sqrt (5)' and the '1 - sqrt (5)' is divided by 2.

Also note that '1 + sqrt (5) / 2' is the number phi, also known as the Golden Ratio.

The Golden Ratio is instrumental numberous things including:

It's written like this:
(1+sqrt(5))/2  and (1-sqrt(5))/2
