Title: Force Feedback Request
Post by: Citabria on May 28, 2001, 01:52:00 PM
I would like it very much if trim effects could be disabled on the user FE while leaving the other effects enabled/disabled as user chooses.

with trim effects disabled I would prefer the Force feedback to return to its out of game force levels for recentering.

thanks

currently i have to trick AH into thinking im using a sidwinder precision 2 to disable force feedback effects yet retain recentering effects by hooking up swp2 then removing it and hooking up ff2 once game opened  (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/frown.gif)

Trim effects are the main reason I use the Force Feedback, seems to give me more of a feel for the airplane.

Anyway, looking forward to the day when you join us back online citabria.

I use M$ SideWinder FF 1 and the FF incorporated by HT into the 1.07 suits me quite well (including the trim effects). What I would like to see added to the FF modeling is the "feel" of aircraft rolling on the ground...

And a personal note to Citabria: Hello my friend, I think you dont remember me but when I was begining with AH I used to fly with you a lot  (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif) Then my trial expired and I was away for some time. I subscribed after some time but since then I couldn't find you online anymore  (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/frown.gif)  Well just a sentimental memories from past revoked by your post  (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/biggrin.gif)

Hope to see you online...

the harmony of control is awful in the force feedback.

if the aileron and elevator forces could be individually adjusted by the player it would be quite nice.

for my tastes the ailerons are to light and elevator way to heavy.

i use CH force FX  complet gear    fell now much beter , the only thing i the ,,micro freeze,,  frame rate in hevy graphic load still around 55/s but visualy i se some diference, can be the desactivated V synch , the damn thing when ON i have blue slash on screen

i desactivated only Gun forces, the 190 shake inaf and when my stick shake that to hard to hit something,  the Trim forces are modelet much beter for FX stick like in WB but the old I force was the best

Citabria , actualy U can desactivate ANY individual force ,  last think the owerspeed efect
in I force the stick become HARD like   stone when i dive in Old WB with 109 here in aH stil inaf soft to control, in AH simply the reponse of stick become  wery low

I just bought a M$ FF2 stick today.  Lots of fun, but the elevator and aileron forces are so totally different.  I wish we could control them.

It is of no use trying to disable just the ailerons/elevator forces, that makes the stick wobble around with no force on it at all. Impossible to know when the stick is centered  (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/frown.gif)   (MS Sidewinder2)

Aileron forces are week, they barely exist, while Elevator forces are very strong.

This goes for all gunner positions and GVs too, not good.
