Title: McAfee question

I just installed McAfee V.8 on my system. I have set it up for manual updates only in the preferences option page. I still get interuptions of programs when it tries to check for updates on it's own. I dropped this brand virus product before over this crap.

Does anyone know how to stop it while gaming? I even disable the entire program and it does this. :mad:

i leave my autoupdate on; i set it for a time i usually have the pc on but not playing. I have it check for updates once a day, you should be able to set the update frequency by clicking on the update line and then hitting configure.
