I am getting a Ddhelp error message,,,,dumps game........I can still play just have to re-log.   I heard it was related to sound card issues ,,,,,,,,so I turned accelerter down,,,,,, checked Dxdiag ..,,,said everything was fine.  

I have an old computer
850 pent3
512 ram
ati 9000
dx 9.0b

kinda fustrating only occurs in AH........any ideas would be appreciated!

Typically, the DDHELP error message is due to an incorrectly installed video driver.  Try removing the driver, rebooting to VGA mode and re-installing the driver.

The error is coming from DriectX.
