A wise man, once told me, the DA is stupid. I used to be a big fan of proving yourself in DA, but now I realize its pointless.
This man made good point by saying this...
"The DA is stupid place where you have low speed stall fights, and that never applys in MA. The only time you stall fight in MA is when you try to fix a mistake you made by not maintaining E well."
I totally agree, DA is garbage.
Just good way of showing if you can fix mistakes you make in MA, due to losing all of your energy. The real way to show good pilot skill is throw 40 guys together, and see who is left standing. \
Just my lame opinion, But it makes sense eh?? :D

Lazer you disapoint me.
DA doesnt have to be used as a place to prove who is better than the next.
I can say first hand that the DA helps, others I've helped in the DA will say the same thing.
Personaly, I think it is the best place to learn ACM but is only effective if you can apply what you learn in the DA to MA conditions.

If your going 150mph in MA, your pretty much screwed. At peak times, there are 700 people in there, and you will have 20 of them diving on you in a horde.
DA only good place to learn how to get yourself out of a stupid hole your in.

This from the same guy that was just challenging Rollo to the DA this morning to show his skilz? Lame is right.

Thats because I shot down rollo in a slow/low fight, and he stated I sucked. So what place better place to take him than DA, and give him another low and slow fight?
My point is, being good in DA doesn't make you elite.

If you ever want to beat Shane in CT, MA, SEA.. whereever.. you need to learn the scissors fight.. Slow.. we're talkin' super slow.. we're talking full flaps down type slow..

Get the story right kiddies, I shot rollo down. He whined, and I told him if he had problem we could go to DA and reinact this scene.
Check the stats, or learn how to read. Take your pick.

The main reason I don't partake is listed above.
I'm too old for that.
I'd love to hook up with Shane or WT and work some stuff. Just work some stuff and learn.
Testostrone level from my view is a bit high for my taste.
My levels have dropped to a managable level in the last ten years..

DA's always been fun for me. Its the first place I go to get some ACM help. I've spent countless hours in there dueling and getting help (Quite a few hours with Wldthing- Thanks :) ) on ACM and 1vs1 stall fights. Its always been a great resource for help for me.
But Ill notice during the time I'm in there that there are the guys who want to duel like theyre trying to prove something. Its a game, use the DA for fun, not trying prove youre better than someone. Have fun with it. Its great if you dont abuse the resources the DA offers.

You're right about that United. It's why I turn down most DA "invitations". I will go w/ WT when he gets the urge.
That said, fighting in the DA is quite (not completely) different than fighting in the MA. Like it or not, the MA requires much more SA to survive. Good thing there are differences. if their weren't differences, other than the occasional HO/collision, WT would probably never get shot down...Shane rarely.
