IIRC Hotseat of Warbirds III fame has one of those.  Best looking post-1970 Ferrari, nothing else comes close.

No you don't.  The insurance would kill you.  And if that didn't do it, Ma and Pa Kettle in the vegetable truck would rear-end you and break your heart.

Nice link Mini.  I wonder why the prices have jumped so much.

I went on a couple F-car websites and the original (NOT 308 replicas) 288's are all going for $350,000 plus.

With a base price of $80,000... I wonder whats up there... hmm...

Ferrari has it's collectors.  There were only 272 of them made.  It's not too difficult to do the math.  Hell... Ferrari could sell 250 $1.5mil cars before they even started manufacturing them.

Makes you wonder why they sold them for $80K to begin with.

It also makes you wonder what each of the 349 Enzo's will be worth in 20 years.

The '74 GTO was a disappointment.  After the GTO left the LeMans line, the breed was considered dead.

The new GTO should be interesting.  I don't like the interior leather colors, though.  They should've offered white exterior with tan leather interior.

I almost think this was one of the breakthrough "We can charge virtually whatever we want for limited production cars" revelations.  That is, they saw how much the cars were selling for (retail) and had a major awakening.  It's amazing how many limited production lines they've come out with since then.
