Yesterday I had a player (sorry don't remember the ID) ask me about the B-26 and why it was located so far back in the setup. At that point I told him that it was to hopefully stimulate someone to make a mission and get some escorts up to defend a bomber run against the Japanese. His response was "thanks I'll talk to a few buddies and we may do that." Did he do it? Who the heck knows but at least he asked the question that I have been waiting for someone to ask since the setup went into effect.

You expect us to think, and ask questions?? Is this some kind of Jedi Mind F$%k??:D
-
Löwe, I know it's a little vain but could you fix your sig line? That damned little bracket at the end is bugging the watermelon outta me. Thanks bud! :aok

Yes we do now fix your flippin sig line like Diablo asked! :aok :lol
-
What the hell's a fuggin' sig line?
-
Sounds like a good sqaud night mission to me. B-26s to Rabaul.
-
Excellent idea. Escorted by VF-17 .... well .... someone painted our corsairs kinda funny .... but ....
(excorting B-25s was a common mission for VF-17. B-26s'll do.)
-
is it friday yet???
-
Sig fixed:aok

Sounds like a good escort op for CAG-44. Would be nice to see someone plan an interception mission to give a little opposition. Me and the few other VF-27'ers that have been flying this week have mostly been on the Axis side to keep the numbers close.
-
Squire,
If you want to email me and Duke we would be glad to setup an escort mission to cover you guys.
-
Email sent regarding our plans, such as they are, thanks. Much will depend on the #s too, and where the fight is.
Thx Reschke, if CAG-44 has something up, let us know will ya?
-
CC Squire.
-
might want to work on getting some opposition organized, or you escort guys are gonna be real bored. :)
-
Sounds like you just volunteered your jarheads for the OPFOR mission Soulyss. :p
-
If you want us to join in or fly axis.... we can... just let me know...
-
Stream
Some opposition would be great! I don't believe I am speaking wrongly here in saying that CAG-44 would not hesitate to re-pay the favor when it's a non-pac setup:aok
-
Great Stream we would appreciate it if you guys could get together a opposition flight. Just to make it interesting I think we could throw you some intel on the general area we would be going to hit.

Lol in that case it'll most likely just be me in my poor little KI. :)
Gettin those lugheads organized can be a task. :D
-
One way or the other if I can fly that night count me in, I'll fly opposition, I'll yell at the squaddies, may be able to get a couple to show.

Reschke I won't be able to do it till Thursday, I am pretty busy right now working on OPORD for Squad Ops... ummm if we could shoot for thursday it might be easier.... I will be up pretty late tonight trying to get those done... My CM wants them out by wednesday... I might be able to drag Hawk and his 78th in too...
Honestly you don't have to give intell.... believe me we will know your coming... unless you plan on doing it at 40 agl.... makes it more interesting too...
Just let me know if this is due able...

Rgr that Soulyss I will see to it that the intel brief for the OPFOR gets to you and Stream.
Stream here is the general idea I was planning on emailing to you. Thursday may be the night that it all comes together. I ahve to get with the rest of CAG-44 and see what is happening since Thursday seems to fall on the normal flight night for most squadrons.
The plan doesn't call for us to be at 40 feet AGL and it doesn't call for long overwater flights southwest or northeast of "The Slot" itself. Hope that narrows it down for you a little.
