Ok, that same reporter was taging along with me tonight, (see the link, and earlier post) We get a call for a chest pain, turns out this guy is having the "big one". Get him in the rig, give him some asprin, nitro, get to the hospital, go to take the gurney out and the guy goes into cardiac arrest, I shock him, he goes flatline. Give epi, start cpr and the guy converts, get pulses back and he sits up and starts talking. All righ infront of the tv reporter. Guy is now sitting up in ICU going to live, and my coworkers are giving me sooo much chit...

where is the actual story?
-
She wasn't there to do a story, today at least. She wants to do a few stories on different things, Ie the drunks in town and the problems they cause, traffic problems (they think they have them here...lol) and others, our crew manager made her do several "ride-alongs" with out the camera so she can really understand what we do, not just film one call and think she has seen it all. She has also been rididng with the police, fire dept and life flight.

Heya Eagler - I'm doing just swimmingly, thanks! I changed pretty much everything in my life, and have settled into a new city which I'm liking a lot. I had my 1st of a series of interviews yesterday, and landed the job. My apartment is basically empty but for this computer, a tv and some cooking stuff... but the rebuilding is kind of a fun prospect so I don't mind so much. I'm getting a second swing at the bat so to speak, and I'll try my darndest not to blow it this time. Thanks for asking Eagler.

I have a great story from work today too...
I was sitting at my desk when Jim walked up and said "We're not going to need that rotohammer window this morning, but we will need it tomorrow". I replied "OK". It was pretty damn inspiring at the time. Maybe you just had to be there. OK... your story was better.

P.S. the link didn't work for me.
