Title: P-38 Roll Rate
Post by: Tequilla on March 18, 2004, 08:11:33 AM
sorry for posting this already because it is not a bug I believe.
Dale would you be so kind as to revisit the roll rate of the P-38 in AH2.
I fly the 38 exclusively in the MA and the difference is substantial in Ah2.
Thanks in advance

Yep.  First thing I noticed with the P38.  It is markedly inferior to the AH1 version.  My understanding is that the hydraulically operated ailerons really gave it an impressive roll rate, especially at high speed.  Otherwise, the AH2 Lightning is a joy to fly.

Does the AH2 Lighting not have the hydrolic ailerons?

I do not understand? A typo?

Does that mean it was a P-38 J?

Does it mean that there was a minor mistake in the code?

I am confused.

Nothing new really for me though!:D

The 190a8 and F8 roll rates are a lot different from ah1 and from the ah2 a5 and d9. Is it possible the same typo could be effecting them as well?
