Title: polys being rendered when not in view?

curious here....when at altitude and viewing straight up, and the head positioned moved so that no part of the canopy is in view, (basically you would see the blue sky filling the entire view) there are still around 2000 polys being rendered according to the vid display text. I think this is in most planes, even the glass cockpit of the 51.

where are these polys coming from? is stuff being rendered always even when it is not in view?

I Show only about 500 when running same test. Assume your clip board is hidden. Btw each char of text is 2 triangles.

Same here.  

No clipboard = ~620

Clipboard = ~2000+
