Place your vote for "Luzon 2" by 10bears next month in one of the two Special Events Arenas. Folks, these pictures does it no justice, it simply a great arena, alot of folks have been using it for HTH sessions, and the only bug I've found so are is the Dar Bar doesn't map the grid location...other than that its a blast! Great work 10bears!

Not for me at all, actually, getting better FPS than MED by a long shot.

Less than 200 objects on map.. The limit is 4,000. The Phillipines during the war had 17 million people... (Its about 40 mill now) I had to put em' somewhere. I used textures to create an opitical illusion. Also an eariler version, folks commented the capitol was a little too busy, FR drop.. So I cut Waaaa back on the use of objects.. Only used the default groups HTC provided. Even an old beat-up Micron like I have gets about 30 FPS over Manila.

10Bears, outstanding work on those ground textures...they look SOOOO 3D!!!!
Maybe in the future, when HTC adds their `water' model to the textures, if they make it so aircraft float half submerged (Don't know if that will ever be do-able) They should apply the same properties to a `Jungle/Forest' tile, such that aircraft disappear as they get shredded by the forest. That would force pilots to look for Farms/Fields/City's etc, for ditching (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/biggrin.gif) .
Having seen this, I can't wait for your CBI map! Maybe we will have the Ki-44 (Shameless aircraft promotion) to fly there when that map arives.

Hmm I know with Luzon 1, I found the terrain texture hard on the eyes. Can't say for sure if it affected my fps or not. Tho i prefer the med or the current AH terrains.
