Something I like from another game is that individual hits to a wing cause minor drag and lift loss. Any chance we could have this (before the component becomes critical and breaks off completely)?

Thought I'd bump this rather than start a new thread. I'm really hoping the damage model will reflect each hit, not so much visually but aerodynamically chipping bits off the performance.
At the moment it seems you can unload in a scissory snapshot situation and after 3 passes nothing much has happened, you just get the feeling 1 more .303 round would cause total disintergration but lose the angles, get reversed and whammo your down. I get this alot in a 109 G2 v any Spit and its a bit discouraging.
I guess coding this would be a nightmare, I really dunno about these things, but with AH1 shuffling off this mortal coil, I hope the all or nothing damage will follow.
