Outstanding new MOD out for F1C, Prototype Group C cars.

I've gotten a kick out of the mods from those guys, but I'm tired of the EASports' F1 series arcadish damage graphics. I didn't bother getting the F1c version once I learned that I could get Sebring day and Sebring night for NR2003.
-
I will have to check it out.
I have pretty much gone back to Papy sims though.
For some reason the F1 series graphics just don't look good on my computer. Even with FSAA on, it still looks grainy and jagged. For whatever reason, I get better frame rates and picture quality in Papy-land.

Yeah, that's the other complaint I have with the EASports F1 sim series - the graphics are definitely arcade-ish; very bright and vibrant. The Papyrus sim's graphics are a bit more muted and, in my opinion, more realistic.

Same here, but I do like the old Historic car MODs coming out in the future. The GTX Mod from the same group really looks good.
Would love to see a historic T/A Mod for NR2003. Would go well with the new Riverside beta.

But will this kill them all,

Monk - what is that screenshot from!?!?

It's probably the FIA GT game from the people who did GTR 2002. Totally new game from the ground up. And they have access to the FIA GT teams for engineering data. Should be an awesome game.

Found this listed at the American LeMans Series website under "Games". Anybody tried it?

I might have to pick it up. Gave a quick read of the website and it looks very interesting.
edit: Yes, it looks very interesting indeed. Take a look at the name on the door and the rear spoiler.

Now read the press release about the Zwaans GTR Racing Team:
Zwaans GTR Racing Team launched their 2004 programme in the Netherlands on Friday 19th March. The team will be entering two Chrysler Viper GTS-R cars in the FIA GT Championship, in a new red and silver livery, inspired by their collaboration with the forthcoming GTR game, developed by the Simbin corporation, and based on the FIA GT Championship.
The nr 9 car will be in the hands of Rob van der Zwaan, German driver Klaus Abbelen, who was with the team last year, and Henrik Roos from Sweden. Arjan van der Zwaan will be in the nr 10 car; his team-mates will be announced next week.
"I can't wait for the first race," Rob explained. "During the last test in Monza we learned a lot of new things; and I have two solid drivers in my team. Tactically speaking, we are not just going for pure raw speed, but we shall focus on finishing the races in the points."
Henrik Roos is one of the people of simbin!
The real FIA GT schedule is:
2004 Calendar
Rounds Date Country Circuit
1 28/03/2004 Italy Monza
2 18/04/2004 Spain Valencia
3 02/05/2004 France Magny-Cours
4 16/05/2004 Germany Hockenheim
5 30/05/2004 Czech Republic Brno
6 27/06/2004 Great Britain Donington
7 01/08/2004 Belgium Spa-Francorchamps
8 05/09/2004 Italy Imola
9 19/09/2004 Germany Oschersleben
10 08/10/2004 United Arab Emirates Dubaļ
11 14/11/2004 China Zhuhai
Some interesting tracks there. SimBin says they'll all be in the GTR game, plus some bonus tracks (I'm hoping for Le Mans, Sebring, Watkins Glenn, and/or Indianapolis).
