After temporarily switching to another monitor, I've switched back to my 22" Iiyama, but the refresh rate seems to be locked at 60 Hz - and indeed this is what is displayed on the Monitors tab of the Advanced Display Properties. I can't seem to shift it off 60 Hz. Possibly relevant is that my Iiyama uses a BNC connector, not a D-Sub (the D-Sub is plugged in to another computer).
Any ideas?

Did you check Display Proprties.../Displays/Monitor Button to see if Refresh Rate Overide is set to 60?

Yes I did - that was one of the first things I checked, but while the monitor is there, I can't seem to actually enable the pane.

Go to device manager and uninstall all monitors then restart and redetect your monitor.

If your Iiyama is an LCD, it will always show 60Hz refresh rate because LCDs all refresh at 60Hz.

It's a CRT. I ended up swapping the BNC and D-sub connectors. This fixed the problem.

Cool. If you had the 22 Inch Iiyama LCD I was gonna be so freakin jealous.
What am I talkin about? ANY Iiyama makes me jealous!
