He must have not been the 20mm tail gun version. The last thing the b17 would want to do was get on the 6 of one of those. The 151/20 would be pointing right down the thoat of the pilot.

A friend of mine had a similer duel on AH between a Lancaster (my friend) and a B17 (the enemy). My friend won though in the end as he had a formation
