How much trouble would in be to set it so planes can dive to extinguish fires?
something simply like tieing it to a given speed for a given time frame.

Batz, I'm curious as to whether diving really does extinguish the flames or not.
I seem to recall people saying that in high speed dives, the airflow pushes the oxygen out of contact so it temporarily puts out the fire, but it would start burning again when the dive stopped - is this true?
Anyhow, I'd love to see that in AH.. it's really cool watching that happen in AEP.. :) Once, I shot a Ki-84 at the wingroot and it bursted into flame. I foolishly took for granted that it meant a kill, and merrily strolled away. The flames died out on the Ki-84, and it turned back and shot me down unawares :)
Maybe I only set some hydraulic fluids on fire..

If the fire starts again, its wasn't fully put out in the first place.
