There I am flying, minding my own business. One lucky kill under my belt. See some red dots near a friendly base & decide to dive in. Spot a low P-38, dive on him, he reverses, I start to zoom up. When I start the zoom I see an M-3 in the middle of the town. When I hang helplessly on top of the zoom RIGHT OVER THE BASE, the base is captured and ack opens op. I get blown to bits. Bah.

Done.

on the good side of that situation, once I was capping an airbase ( looking for vulch   :)  )  when we captured the base as..........about 4 people were on the runway to take off,  ack opened up and without firing a shot, i got 4 kills.

I know Tapakeg, I also had the 'luck' that a AFK Lanc formation flew into a mountain when I was chasing it.

Just had to vent my frustration a bit.

Good Whine.  I give it 8.5/10.  I knocked a point off because you only had one kill and half a point for the bouquet.

So the JBz are taking a base with both planes and gvs. Im in a F8 and im tasked with taking out the vh. Another guy is on deack and vulch duty.  He takes out VH ack so i have a clear drop on it. THE WORST DROP EVER!!! I miss by a mile. Meanwhile the other plane gets whacked by manned ack. I have a goon otw and a flak and M8 zooming in to CAP the base. I turn to start gunning out the VH. I manage to get 2 M16s trying to spawn. The guy spawns no more. Goon says he's a half sector out, flak is taking town down, M8 finished off VH for me and I finish deacking everything. Then along comes a form of 26s otd. I have all of 94 MGs left :(

After toying with the bombers for a bit, he sees the goon and heads straight at them. The goon turns towards the bombers and escapes underneath them with only an oil leak. The B26 pilot hops into his tail gun and starts firing at the goon coming out behind him. I try to draw his attention by spraying him with MGs. No good, he is hell bent on getting that goon........ oh wait, watch out for that mountain :lol

Got credit for all three bombers and 2 M16 vulches. Yes, we did take the base. :cool:

and whats the issue here? You didn't realize your base was being capture and you whine...sigh. gg

spent two hours capturing a base monday.


109 comes in befor city is back up kills ack.

m3 pulls up, we kill it then the troops.

base still falls.

invisible troop bug year 4


ahh good times.
