It's possible to have a linux ver of AH, or the team have kick out this possibility

I think they have it scheduled to be begun right after the Mac version is complete.

I would love to see that myself. Plan on installing Linux on my system soon. Only problem I see is driver support, but then most people installing linux on their systems are pretty knowledgable of the OS (not that I'd be one of them).

There are no plans for it.

Linux, is some piece of work.
I had it in my HD for about year (RedHat) beside Win98.
I checked it and learnt(little) to use it, but then, nothing. I just kept using windows and Linux just used my space of my HD (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)
I think I'll wait for Linux being such an easy platform for applications as windows (ok,ok, not always easy), but for now, there's lots of manual adjustments to do in linux and as long as it stays in that way, it won't be very popular, so I'll say NO for linux for now. But Mac version (althought I hate Mac's, I HAVE to use them on work) is another subject...
Just my opinions.

Linux.. I use it but what a joke to think it should be used as a gaming platform. It is only good for development/work.

Before you write if off as a gaming platform, you might want to check out
