The main Bf-109 rule:

If you take 3 cannons ord you'll find two ponies 2K alt higher than you.
The main film recorder rule:
If you start recorder the fight'll be especially boring.
The main drop tank rule:
If you take a drop tank you'll be voulched near your field

Dicta Westy:
To dive is to compress is to auger.
-
Yeagers thoughts:
If you fly the 109, you deserve it when I shoot you down.

Other rules:
Diving from the sun:
When diving on a target from the blind area of the sun, you will lose sight of him, level off, and see him diving out of your sun now
-
Fuel management:
You can fly around for hours without draining all of your fuel, yet if you get shot up in 5 minutes you'll run out before rtb.
Loadout:
When carrying a large-denomination loadout (1000 lb.s and higher), you will miss the target. When carrying plenty of smaller loadouts (100 lb.s and so on) you won't find any undamaged targets
:P
-
RULES OF THE VULTURE:
If you are low on the way to vultured field you will be catched in the middle with the high 109.
If you will grab high you will meet no one till the field.
Acks always back when you are low and in the center of the field.

The Nikki Rule:
Landing gear are superfluous, as you will never survive long enough to use them.
-
More rules:
When you come across 3 buffs while in a single fighter, you will have a good run of it, and get a kill or more. When coming across a lone, smoking buff, while in a pack of fighters, you will most likely be shot down.
Oil, who needs oil?
When you take a round above your base, it's usually in the oil tank, forcing you to land and repair, (which is annoying!). When you're 40 miles away from base, you'll take a hit in the fuel tanks, which forces you to land (hah! more likely "glide") and repair (which is annoying!)

Roooooooole Six!
No poofdahs.

Least Likely Rule
Just when you think you have it sorted out, and you know which planes are fun, you take one of the "least likely" up and have a blast!
By the way, the Nikki's can be waaaaaay cool. (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)
-
One for the road rule:
When you're RTB with no damage, and you go back -- just for a second -- to whack that lone, low con foolishly chasing you, you will get shot down.
-
the F4U Rule (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)
There will always be a plane thet is faster AND turns better AND climbs better AND is tougher AND is better armed AND it will be flown by everybody else except the Luftwaffles (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

Here's a feature that isn't in the documentation but I figured out the hard way...
When you start typing into the radio buffer your icon becomes instantly visible to everyone in the arena with a big bright caption that says "This guy will be flying straight and level and not paying attention for the next 30 seconds."

Canyons walls are closer than they appear.
FW190: You never have enough speed to run away; always too much speed for landing.
Bf109: If you have enough speed in the dive to catch em. You'll have too much speed to control plane. Lawndart!
LW A/C kill me in more ways than one!!

Simple rule:
When you think theres nobody around than one single enemy below you, theres suddenly fari... spitfires above you.
When you leave to a place full of enemies, theres none when you arrive there.
Always be a step ahead your enemy.
-
The Disco rule:
Just as you are about to land the 47 at the empty enemy base, your ISP drops you and you have to start again, By the time you get back, the ack is back up, and there are 2 spits and 1 pony diving for your bus. (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)
(learned that one today)
