I read somewhere on these boards that someone sucessfully used CH Pro pedals (usb) and an X45 joystick.
I went out and got the pedals, and they have installed (reading OK in game controllers in windows) but I can't get them to work with the joystick. When they are plugged in, the joystick input is ignored. (For AH and IL2). Does anyone have any ideas as to how to get them to work together?
Cheers

Have you selected the joystick input in setup? I had that problem when I 1st started in AH. You have to select which joystick does what.
Example...
Go to joystick and select your inputs!
Pitch = x45 axis ?
roll = x45 axis ?
throttle 1 = x45 axis ?
View Hat 1 = x45 hat ?
rudder = CHPro axis ?
Then you have to set your button inputs, but thinkin there are no buttons on pedals so when you select x45 also select box that says set all inputs.
I'm sure some could say it's a pain but the setup gives you full control of everything! :D
Hope that helps.

Excellent thanks.
I'll give it a try.

choose the X45 and select all inputs, make sure they all take as the pitch sometimes doesn't and you have to manually set the axis. set those inputs
then choose the rudders, rudder and Z axis - set that input
calibrate
here is a X45 profile which has the rudder set for the Ch pro peds while the rudder on the X45 throttle is the aileron trim
X45_CH Pro Ped Profile (http://www.pogbird.com/X45)
one for IL/FB also in the link

Excellent.
Thanks Eagler. You were right about the pitch input going funny.
[edit]
Eagler - the links you have posted don't seem to be working.
