Skuzzy, have you any knowledge about the PNY Quadro 580 XGL? I have discovered that the GeForce line is woefully inadequate for CAD work, so I need to upgrade to a CAD optimized card. I was looking at this one, but I can go with any card in the end. If you know of a CAD optimized card that will allow AH2 to scream as well, let me know, please.
Any price range is fine.

CAD cards are typically optimized for OpenGL and some do not even have DirectX drivers. Almost all CAD software uses OpenGL, so even if you find a work station card that supports DX, it probably won't be as fast as a regular video card.

That's what I was afraid of.
