I logged several hours on Aces High over the weekend, and I just gotta say - WOOOO!  :aok

I've never really done the flight sim thing, because I have never really had time and whenever i tried it was frustrating.   With Aces High,  though, I was able to start the 2 week temp online thing and get some help from a friendly pilot there.  He helped me with some landing issues I was having (as in crashing), then let me shoot at him for awhile, giving me tips.  
The next morning I couldnt wait to start.  I got into the Training arena again, and asked if anyone wanted to duke it out with a rookie.  Another self proclaimed rookie said sure and we spent the next half hour at least chasing each other around.  Then, in the afternoon I went back and after awhile some of the more experienced pilots changed to Rooks and we had a blast trying to shoot them down.  
I love this game.  If I can afford the $15 a month to keep the online thing going, I will.

Welcome aboard banditdaddy!  Glad to hear you're enjoying yourself.

When you graduate from the TA, dont hesitate to hook up with some friends and check out the many special events AH has to offer.

Thanks, I will.  That's part of what makes this a good time - the cameraderie and willingness to help us greenhorns.  I'm going to like this.

Welcome aboard, from another newbie. :D  
I try to spend a fair amount of time in the TA these days, since most of the time I spend in MA is in a chute....
This game is fun, addictive, and a real good way to waste a lot of time!

lol...don't listen to SOB...he is a tard.  ;)  The alt-F4 gag is played upon newbies in the MA when they ask how to do something on the radio channel.

Hitting alt-F4 will end Aces High and throw you back to the desktop.

It is so awesome for a new player to practice, check out the training arena, and learn the game.
