Post by: ridenlow on March 29, 2004, 09:56:49 PM: ok i9 know that everyone knows wat tank town is, but why do they call it tank town cause i mean planes can still get in it, so why not jus call it a city or some crap cause tank town does not fit the profile, if i was hitech i would make about a 60k foot cliff all the way around it so no planes could get in.

If you want to play with tanks without being blown up by aircaft go and play a tank simulator game. This is a combat aircraft simulator: ground vehicles are just an interesting add-on.

Your GVs can get to the plane areas, so the planes can get to the GV areas... seems fair, especially if you've ever had an osti or a panzer vulch you on the runway when you are taking off.

No, this game "AH" is what we {the people who pay to play it} make of it!!! The NAME of the game is Aces High, it's just a name. Being a GV driver myself I enjoy the ground war part of the game, I also occasionlly enjoy flying a plane.
If you like flying so much, then go play a "flight sim" like IL2 Strumavik, now thats a flight sim. People love to call this a flight simulator for some reason as if it's sooooooo realistic. I urge you to play IL2 with NO flying aids on and we'll see if you even get off the deck, let alone shoot something down:rolleyes:
