Downloaded AHII beta 19 twice and keep getting thie error message. AHII will not open.

ERROR: .......stdshape.res could not be opened

Can't tell much from your system specifics, but Beta 19 does seem to work when Pyro's instructions are followed.

Do you currently have Beta 18 installed?  The update will only work if the previous version is installed.

That was sort of the probelm. I have downloaded since beta 13 thru 18. Some reason AHII was removed from my system...musta been on meds or something..lol, anyway, I reinstalled (already downlaoded) 13 thru 19 and all is well.

Pyro .. it let me download the full beta 19 and run it. In and out of the arena for a couple of days. Then tonight it forced a download again. Same version - 20 megs (not the original fifty something) and porked it all big time.

Are we saying that this time, when I try to reinstall it all, I'll have to babysit the whole proceedure on dialup and load up 13 though 19?
