Title: I'm back
Post by: pwnorris on March 30, 2004, 08:26:18 AM
I spent this weekend experimenting with another on-line game.:(   What I found is this:

1.  This is a better crowd of people. :aok
2.  You are a more helpful bunch when someone is a newb.:)
3.  You answer questions from the newbs, even when they might appear to be stupid.:aok
4.  You the person who shoots you down:confused:
5.  And you don't kick someone off of the team just because he gets shot up all the time and doesn't appear to contribute.  See (2) and (3) above.:aok
6.  And you take the time to chit-chat when in transit, in the middle of a fight, or because there happens to be a 'y' in the day.
7.  Yeh, there are the people who have bad hair days   but most of the time you're all a good bunch.  Besides, you're almost civil, most of the time.

So, I think this will remain my primary on-line game for some time to come.:aok

I foolishly wondered away, looking for new excitement, and some place where I could be the dominant force in game playing. But, like the prodigal son I have returned after one week's absence.  My mother did not raise any stupid children.:aok

Yes Grits, there are.

But, just because they exist does not mean that they are better.  After all, they have to worry about cheaters.  Some even complain when new players join, or try to exclude them.

Maybe we need to 'evangelize' some more and save them from their erring ways.:D
