After the last abortion of a movie, it's hard to care.

Of course... I'll probably see it once Blockbuster puts it in one of those red boxes... For $4 on a weekly rental, the disappointment won't kill me. :)

Whoa, cool.  What's the story behind that?

ed: that being the article/pic, not the story behind Darth Vader.

But wait, there's more! For $8.50 you also get General Grievous!

Abortion... that's probably the best word I've seen to describe the new ones.

General grevous, count dooku, come on.  Try a bit harder on the names here, george.

The ending of Episode 2 wasn't too bad, as was the duel at the end of Episode 1....

I'm counting the days till sept and the release of the boxset (even if it is the spec ed)

If it wasn't for the bad acting of Annikan and the never ending luv thing between him and princess Armadillo I think #2 would have been decent.  Thank GOD they didn't have that homosexual alien too much in #2 as well.

"Princess Armadillo"... that's pretty good.  Certainly makes it easier to remember her name.

I just hope they don't call it "The Creeping Fear" as it has been rumoured...

That would be the Worst. Title. Ever

please! Like attack of the CLonEs was not the worst?

Could he have come up with a more lame name?

Lucas has taken one of the joys of my childhood and soiled it with this ****  he calls episode I, II, III.

This third movie will be ****ty. Lucas can not direct worth a ****.

He ****ing sucks! You want good Sci Fi, go buy Firefly on DVD, you will not be disapointed.

God how I can not stand that man.... what a hack. A hack I tell you!!!

Padme was hot , but she looked too much like a Leia wannabe.
another thing Episode 1 and 2 lacked was a character like Han Solo, rough but brave and also funny.
George Lucas sucks

I dunno, I tend to skip Gto's posts lately.  The abundant use of asterisks gets a little old. :p

LOL
 Hmm well that sucks Lepaul.

This really does make me angry though. I truely do feel the new movies have taken allot away from the 3 that were good.

Furious
The names may not have been any better, but they had charecter, unlike the wooden uninteresting ones in the new movies.

Yep.  Either that or my cinematic tastes have matured.  Or a combination of both.

Personally, if I were George, I wouldn't have sat on my hands so long.  I either would've made the next films "in cycle" (about 3 or 4 years apart, but no more) or not made them at all.  By waiting so long, he tried to introduce new characters to a new audience while alienating his old audience.  He would've been better off doing a completely new serial oriented to the kids and keeping the "Star Wars" tale in tune with an older audience.  For example, in Episode IV, Carrie Fisher provided a good dose of cheesecake in most of her scenes (such as in the scene where just before her home planet gets blasted, its quite obvious she's strutting around bra-less).  And in Episode VI we get the Slave Leia scenes which fueled the sex fantasies for most American males between the ages of 10 and 40 for the next 20 years.  But in Eps 1 and 2, George oriented it to the kids, and hence no bloody arms on the floor of a cantina, no half-naked Princesses, no green-skinned women dancers cavorting in the evil guys' lair.

If SW: Ep3 is released in the same summer as the new Batman film, I'll probably spend my cash on Batman.

Gofaster!
 Right on target.

Sadly, asking the kids he aimed the new movies at what they thought of them? None care? lol My girlfriends kids want Ugio and pokamon stuff, they got some starwars toys for xmas and STILL have not opened them.

LOL if lucas had aimed the movies at his real fan base the toys would have still sold, just not to kids! :D

They are hard to find now. I can't find them and I just looked. Whatever network owned the rights started warning pages that hosted the videos.

:(

Some funny stuff, I am glad I saved the files.... I think.
