Title: An amusing story at IGshill's request
Post by: Steve on March 31, 2004, 08:00:25 PM: IGshill and I had an encounter two nights ago and last night he asked me to post it here, saying my version of the story is false.
The zip file at the bottom of the post shows the encounter and is a film that starts immediately after IGshill and I merge, with me merging a smidge lower. Since IG and I were the only ones around I revved hard, offering him a 1v1.

After the encounter IG said he should not have picked on spit w/ a grabbing pony near.

I then said:

Post by: moot on March 31, 2004, 10:36:04 PM: Yucca you're supposed to spray some 303s by yourself on their home base, act real low+slow, wait for em to bite after hours of stratocircling, then pick em off as they quickly make mistakes in their 3:1 odds.

4 times in a row, with a decked spit5 against their tag team 51s and D9s. Akak reassured me their ch1 smack was a leftover from the old days when shills were the ****. still the case! :p

Post by: Steve on April 01, 2004, 12:01:52 AM: Me neither Yucca. Only thing that made it anything but routine was the fact that IGshill said on CH1 that I was running. Then he challenged me to post the film. I think he gambled that I hadn't filmed so he was free to lie his arse off.

Perhaps next time you can show a La7 egress from a fight too... :D

Shills are like any other squad you get a mix of skills and styles--
-SN- was always a great fight in AW-- don't see him much here.

BTW it appears you were under the influence of something as you appear to be flying for the Bish.:p

I love Da rookies but I usually just want to mix it up by the end of the tour.

Ya, those 3 minutes aren't what you'd call edge of your seat stuff huh? IGshill's retreating 6 isn't exactly an eye opener.

I was in F4U-4 rtbing on Ndisles map and i spot this high la7...

He dives on me with the "$" signs over his eyes at the sight of seeing a perk plane. And with his amount of energy it was pretty easy for me to counter his attack and get on his 6.

So he just continues diving and running away, i turn to rtb again.

To this he turns back onto my 6 a few k behind me. I turn to engage, he tries the HO then continues running again as i pull up and over onto his 6..

so he runs.

I get bored of chasing and turn back for home. He does the same trick of turning back onto me once i have lost interest in chasing him.

This time i give him my 9 o clock to attack and as he is about to shoot i wing over onto his 6 and put a good burst into him which takes out his oil.

to cut a long story short he carried on running all the way to base ack then turned back to fight while smoking, i had chased him and got ganged there.

I hate people that pay their $15 a month to spend all of their time avoiding fights.

Preceding the merge, I was grabbing to the fight up North but then saw IG's dot off west and turned toward him. He said he was chasing 234's but I never saw them.(Not disputing this, they might have landed)

I turned on film as an afterthought because ya never know what you're gonna pick up (learn) in a 1v1 fight. He knew I was there, he merged w/ me, then I sunk below him to keep pace.

I finally gave up when higher dots came into view but right after that I saw IG make a run on a spit, he missed and was running away from the spit so I decided to dive in, run him down and make sure he died. And that's what happened. :)

Really whether he ran or not is not important. Lots of people run. I run.

I just didn't like that he said I ran and that he "didn't feel like chasing me down." I didn't appreciate the mistruth to this especially from someone who I genuinely considered a friend*.

* As much as two people can be freinds via the internet.
