This is for Any of the HTC guys WE WANT LIGHTS ON RUNWAYS AND PLANE LIGHTS!!! PLEASE and on carrier if possable. Not much just enough to see the dam thing!

I agree, NAV lights we can do without...but landing lights are a must for night flight. AND restrict night flight to only planes that were qualified for night flight.
I'm not sure how, or even if runway lights were used in WWII.

That would be a nice thing to have in the tower.
A candle with the occasional moth setting it's dumb self on fire.

Yes they were, look up stories from the Mosquito patrols over nightfighter/bomber bases in wwii.
I have read a really detailed account of the light system used by the LW from a RAF nightfighter pilot, but i cant remember where. ill see if i can find it.
