Title: Intermittent beeps
Post by: FOGOLD on April 03, 2004, 04:48:39 AM
My mobo speaker sometimes gives a little "beep" while playing a game. Nothing misses a beat, but it is perplexing. It is extremely infrequent and the PC behaves normally. It happens once or twice a month.

Mostly mobo beeps are accompanied by instability or crashes or failure to boot.

Any clues?

FOGOLD do you have a temp sensor on your board?  If so it might be from that.  I know my temp monitor in my Thermaltake case will scream at me whenever it starts heating up.
