Artlaws will be along soon to tell you that Hammerheads are cheating.
-
Knife edge spin up :aok
Would say try a lomcevak, but not sure if the prop is big enough on a RV (thinkin you have an RV).
-
Now that you've mastered it.. what's the trick??
-
Better re-read Paragraph 51-D of your contract with Aces High Ltd., i.e.:
The Creator shalt not engage in any actual noncyber flying manuevers other than straight and level cruise except for moderate angles of takeoff and landing over soft wide level fields framing a lego runway, with foam impact pits at each end, which always swivels directly into the wind.

Pictures?
:)
-
he was prolly busy trying not to crash :p
-
Hammerheads are serious fun. My only problem with them was to get the pitch right during the whole maneouver so I got a perfect 180 after it.
The most fun I've had in a plane was precisely last saturday. I finally mastered to properly land the Pitts S2B. Just one lesson away (inverted flat spin recoveries) from my solo in the Zlin Z-50!!
How 'bout some pics Hitech? I'd love to see 'em!!! :)

I bet they're fun. Only thing close to aerobatics I've done were spins and wingovers and they were a blast. But how about finishing up AHII before trying anything more risky? :D
-
I hate you.
:D

Heard that about a pitts, Flying it = great fun/ landing it a new lesson in pucker factor. We have the green machine at our home base (hopped up pitts) watching him land is amazement.
Next manuver to master, avalanche.

Be carefull up there HT, we dont want to loose our favorite game programmer ;)
BTW, do they differ much from the game? :)

only 1 spelling mistake...either youve been taking some english lessons at night school or you got someone else to write it...

Yes on oil system, never have had problems with stomach while flying.
And looking at the world go by flying level and upsidedown is interesting.

HT you have never ruptured an ear drum have you LOL.
Sometimes when I fly I get dizzy as heck.
Oh I fly as a passenger ofcoures LOL.
-
HiTech, how did you ever resolve the prop spinner issue with the aerobatic prop?
The flying sounds like fun. Never flown a plane through a hammerhead, but have been in a glider with a competition pilot who did some. It was wild.

hah he still cant do the inverted thru-hangar trickamajig.

Yes dago, standard hartzell spinner for that prop, and had a 1 1/4" spacer made for the prop.

Did you buy a leather/cloth helmet for your headset? I had to once I started doing some neg G maneouvers. Works wonders against sweat as well.
If you haven't, try AircraftSpruce (http://www.aircraft-spruce.com), they sell one that's 1/6th the price of the official David Clark one and it's just as good.
