I know alot of guys had problems with the Force Feedback Self-Centering being disabled, but I like it better before this latest patch. (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)

Agreed...so much for realism. (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/frown.gif)
Oh well..the squeaky wheel and all that I guess. A lot of people could care less for realism/immersion, they just want what they are used to.
What I don't understand is why they have a FF stick in the first place, if they don't want the real feeling. The FF needed fine tuning maybe, but certainly not "return to centre".

bowser,
If some people have their sticks totally screwed up, is it not a reason to whine? Maybe your FF stick worked ok, but there are many kind of sticks. Just cut the crap about realism... this is still a WW2 furball GAME!
The sticks in REAL ww2 planes did not fall to one side on their own like some joysticks before last patch did! Also why were the same forces used at gunner positions and vehicles?? ...realism u say?
Still I agree that an option to enable/disable it would be the best solution (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)

Actually they did....... when the plane had zero wind moving over the control surfaces. Like when they are sitting still on the tarmac. :-)
Otherwise, there would be a fighting pressure on the stick... it wouldn't keep them centered, but it would definitely keep them somewhat near that.

I just found out you can disable "return to centre" in the controller settings for some sticks, while maintaining the FF settings. I was able disable it for the FF Pro. Check it out. Might need a restart.
