Title: Fester - Ozkansas
Post by: kj714 on April 06, 2004, 03:56:38 PM
Hey Fester!

Nice map, color work is very cool.

Now for the ?

I noticed when I'm diving at a field town thats been hit and is smoking (best example, happens elsewhere too) at some point my plane goes in a "super slo mo", seems to have something to do with the smoke. I've got cable modem and pretty good cpu's, anybody else having this problem?

Any work around on it?

Sounds more like computer issues bud:(

Whats your system specs?

When I play on my lap top I get some lag at times... Only when flying through smoke and a heavy strain is put on my Video card.

It is more pronounced on my laptop, definitely could be video straining. I wonder if it's making me warpy to others?

Turn on the video information (ctrl-I or shift-I can't remember which) and watch your frame rates when there is smoke about. If your frame rates drops then you will have to turn down your video settings and imporve your framerate (or find someway of improving your PCs graphics performance).

Generally I find that the minimum frame rate I can cope with before I start seeing stutters is about 26 in AH, but this depends on the individual.

Though, I would say no its not making you warp for others.

it doesn't make you warp.....

its just your puter vid card processing.....

I get that myself under heavy smoke....

I would need maybe a little more RAM...now that always helps:D
