Title: Need Help
Post by: mjs2001 on April 07, 2004, 09:06:29 PM
Hey everyone,
I recently downloaded AH2, but everytime I try to start it up I get an error message which says:
                         "Initialization failed with -3
                              mainGR3D_FAILED-1"
Can anyone tell me how to get it working, or maybe my computer just can't handle it.
Here are my computer specs:
Pentium III, 850mhz, 128mb RAM, 40gig HD, and it has an Intel 82810E graphics controller.
If it's my computer, can u tell me anything I can do to improve it or whether I should just get a new one.

Thanks,
        Martin

more RAM....

Better Graphics Card....what you got is inboard card(not recommended)

and what Direct X do you use?.....you need DX9 for AH2

your gonna be on the LOW end computer use for AH2....borderline I'd say.

Start thinking on changing computer.

Make sure to get the latest drivers for that chip.  You will need to set the in-game video resolution as low as you can, and set the detail sliders as far to the performance setting as they will go as that system really is going to be taxed for Aces High II.
